How we keep this safe
This site lets families follow the field expeditions from November 10–20, 2026. Because it shows where groups of students have been, it is built to share as little as possible with as few people as possible.
No names, no rosters, no live tracking
The site never lists students. Map pins show the general area a group last checked in from, a few miles across, not where the group is now.
A staff member reviews everything first
Trip leaders send updates and photos to campus. A staff member reads and checks each one before families can see it, and can remove anything at any time.
Only current families can sign in
You sign in with the email address the school has on file for you, using a one-time code sent to that address. Nobody else's address works.
Your email address is not stored
The site keeps only a scrambled fingerprint of each family address. It can check that an address is on the list, but it cannot read the list back, so even a copy of our records would not reveal anyone's email.
The school can switch off access at any time
If a family should no longer have access, the school removes the address and every device it signed in is signed out straight away.
Faculty and staff use their school accounts
Trip leaders and campus staff sign in with their school Google accounts. Families cannot post, and leaders cannot publish without campus review.
If anything needs your attention during the expeditions, the school will call you directly. Questions about this site: advancement@vvsaz.org.
